INTERACTIVE SPACES WITH CLOUD VISUAL POSITIONING TECHNOLOGY
THE PROCESS AS PRODUCT OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

PROTOTYPING & DESIGN
The problem we wanted solve was: Google doesn´t provide all the information we need, so how do we get information about the sites, stores, or buildings we visit?
The UX process begins with the application of Design Thinking strategies to market research, Empathy Maps processes, Costumer Journey, Jobs to be done, interviews, visits and research about new advances in Immersive technologies, since the Geolocation technology was very limited previously.
We prototype severl times until get close to possible solution.
PROCESS
In the process, the biggest challenge was leading a technical team, since I did not have the knowledge to be sure of every technical decision that was made.
This is why I decided to look for an operations director and take leadership training and mentoring, allowing me to delegate functions, establish deadlines and maintain a cross funtional and collaborative environment at the same time.
At a technical level, the need was "solved", but with a great learning curve, since we work with very new, cutting-edge technology.
The technologies, softwares and tools we approached for this project where:
Unity - Immersal - Node JS - Express - API REST - Firebase - Blender - Illustrator - Adobe XD - Photoshop - Trello - Discord.

TEAM
We worked with a totally remote team, which was a new experience for me, but despite that, the work flowed quite harmoniously.
The team was composed of:
1 Director of Operations
1UX-UI designer
1 Senior Unity Developer
1 Junior full stack developer
2 3D Animator (junior & mid level)
1 Product Owner / CEO (me)
CHALLENGES
-
Find talent capable of embrancing unknown technology
-
Facing a new technology (cloud visual position in 2020) No one in the region had worked with this type of technology before, so I had to lead and encourage the team to get the results I was expecting even knowing the posibility of high-risk.
-
Facing technical bugs with lack of support and community knowledge, due to the technology wasn´t that popular.
-
Run the project with limited budget
-
Rollercoaster entrepreneurship when facing a high-risk project
